Hate on Bugs

I’m a real pansy when it comes to insects/bugs/whatever crawly little thing that can sneak up your pants. Everyone who knows me, knows that.

Having stated that, my boyfriend just sent me this video, and I just had to share it. This guy shares my phobia to the extreme — hahahahaha!!

CAUTION: Uses profane language.

Tummy Whining & Update

Thought of the day:
It's so embarrassing when my stomach "farts"...
(Gross thing to bring up, I know. But, just had to write this somewhere haha!)
It's not a real fart!! But, it does sound like one... and it still turns heads. AHHH SO EMBARRASSING.
I've got no clue why my tummy does this to me... oh, what shame and misery. You think it's easy to hold back burps/farts... but how in the world do you control your gastric sounds from inside your body?! Blechh...

Anyways, on to my mini-update:
I've got an accounting project to turn in on Thursday and also a midterm on that day. It's Monday and I've yet to work on/study for both. So, this is what I'll be working on this week. Not bad at all!! After this week, it will be my Spring Break. I plan to just have a chill of a time relaxing, perhaps go to the rodeo, drive up to San Antonio for a day... who knows, do anything :)

I've finally learned how to curl my hair with a Chi hair-straightener! I know, how sad, huh? I'm turning 20 and I only just learned how to use the Chi. This is probably an exaggeration as well, since actually KNOWING how to use it would imply that I'm actually GOOD at doing it. Hehehe... but I'm not. Still workin' on it. I guess I could safely say that I've finally sort of figured out how to curl my hair with a Chi straightener.

Facebook is taking over our lives!!

Here's the link:
http://money.cnn.com/2009/02/16/technology/hempel_facebook.fortune/index.htm?postversion=2009021910

This is why I've returned to Xanga. I'm stepping out of that ring of death, haha!
I love the concept of Facebook. It's fun to look at people you meet's profile. It's kinda like a resume you'd send to a friend (err...).

And, although it's pretty addicting to stay on it for hours on end looking at random friends who you barely even know in reality, I'm going to try to wriggle out from its deathly grasp. I will no longer waste my precious time over worthless moments spent skimming over status updates, picture album updates, etc. I will not help feed this evil Facebook that is taking over our lives!!

NO MO'!!!!

okay, bye now... I'm gonna go check my fb.

What Crept Up In My Reflection

This is embarrassing... but I just felt like writing it out.

I've lost a lot of weight this past year...
(okay, 10-15 lbs. But that's a lot for someone tiny like me)
Although that may be a common goal for others, I really wish I hadn't lost the weight. I'm so unhealthy. I really need to take better care of myself. This includes heading out to the gym, eating healthier foods, getting more sleep, working on my studying habits, everything. The works.

Here's my List of Shame:

(1) Cardio: Even though my thighs don't touch anymore, I get tired from just walking up one floor of stairs. How lame! I follow behind people going upstairs and I feel like I'm lagging behind.

(2) Skin: My skin is showing how unhealthy I am by breaking out in a fit. I should really get to working out so my body circulates blood better. Your skin is your physical reflection of how healthy you are inside and out. Not only do I need to exercise, but I gotta quit eating all this junk food. "You are what you eat." (How in the world did I lose so much weight to begin with anyway?!) I'm such a pig for fast food. Too bad it's horrible for my health. Plus my sleeping pattern changes every DAY! Sometimes, like last night, I only get about 2-3 hours of sleep. This only adds more damage to my health, and it shows in my skin. And, oh yeah, I tend to drink juices & soda everyday. I really need to get into the habit of drinking water instead throughout the day. I'm so dehydrated!

Not everyone can pull it off like Megan Fox.
(haha she was the prettiest acne picture I could find)

(3) Arm Baggage: I've got wings. Except they don't flap. They jiggle. Okay, it's not bad at all. You can't even tell it's there until you pinch me or something. But still, I know it's there. That's all that matters.

(4) Grades: My unhealthy lifestyle has taken a toll on my studying habits. Sadly, my grades have suffered. I get tired often, it's hard for me to concentrate on my work. This is probably due to my diet (I eat everything besides what's good for me 98% of the time), my sleeping patterns (I work late-night shifts), and the basic procrastination. Plus, I don't work out, so I'm even more exhausted and droopy throughout the week.

So, all in all, everything can be improved with a simple solution. I just need to stick to a healthy regimen.

Now... let's start seeing some results!
